The Screaming O Rocks Summer Strummer Festival

September 2, 2007-LOS ANGELES, Calif. The Screaming O’s newly formed event squad “The Scream Team” rocked with the rockers and the 98.7 Star FM sponsored second annual Summer Strummer Festival at the Bergamot Arts Colony located at 2525 Michigan Avenue in Santa Monica, California.

Billed as “the ultimate end of summer music, skate, and lifestyle extravaganza”, the day-long Labor Day weekend event was hosted by televsion host Carson Daly and featured over 40 bands on three stages, an afternoon skateboarding expo, autograph sessions and Gibson guitar giveaways.

The Screaming O booth created quite a buzz in the festival’s VIP area where featured guests and musicians loaded up on the popular sex toys.

This is the second event for The Scream Team in recent months last month they rocked Queen Mary for a Girls Night Out event sponsored by Hot 92 Jamz.

The second annual Summer Strummer festival was presented by 98.7 Star FM, and musical acts included such performers as Mat Kearney, Augustana, Zeke, Mozella, the Supersuckers and more. A portion of the ticket proceeds went to the VH1 Save The Music Foundation and the Los Angeles Ballet.
